Fundraising

Being a club team is great, but it also means we don't receive funding from the Athletic Department at Grant High School.  Yes, that means we are fully self funded.  Throughout the year there will be various opportunities to get involved and help raise funds to support our team!

Swim-A-Thon for Polo | October 25, 2024

On Sunday August 11 we have the opportunity to help volunteer at the Providence Bridge Pedal. The commitment is simple, we station intersections and help keep the cyclists on track. Family and friends are encouraged to participate.  Bridge Pedal t-shirts are given to every volunteer.  Our time slot is 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. but historically we are done by 10:30.  Please RSVP to the Bridge Pedal event here: link

Dan AndersonReal Estate Professional

Some of you may recognize this name because on top of being a real estate professional and water polo guru, he is also a history teacher at Grant High School.  Dan has produced a unique fundraising opportunity for our team through the world of real estate.  Please refer your friends, family, neighbors, or really anyone you know looking to buy or sell a house to Dan and he will generously donate 100% of his cut of the transaction to Grant High School Water Polo.  This is as easy as it gets and it has the potential of providing our team with a stable source of funding for many seasons.  During the 2015 season, Dan donated over $10,000 to the Grant Water Polo Club. Thank you Dan! To access his Zillow profile for more information, click here.

Bottledrop Fundraiser

Our team uses Bottledrop blue fundraising bags, when recycled the deposit goes back to the team. This is an easy way for our team to fundraise all year long and it's good for the environment. Email us to get bags and tags to be picked up at the pool or donate directly from your personal bottle drop account. Look us up at: Grant Water Polo Foundation.
